If you are after a small palm-sized piece or if your design idea is large and detailed and you wish to have a consultation with DJ Wanda, you can now book your appointment online.
Book an appointment
We ask customers to initially come and see us in person. To do so, you need to book a consultation session with DJ Wanda using our online booking form, by phone or email. During the consultation session we can help you refine your ideas and aid your decision and to which tattoo artist is best for you and your project. We do not accept walk-ins. After seeing DJ Wanda, we can then book you in for your tattoo. Consultations are necessary to take measurements or to trace the area you’d like to be tattooed. If you live outside of London, you can email us your ideas and we can go from there. The consultation is 50£ and we will require a deposit to hold your tattoo appointment any time you book.
The shop is open Monday-Saturday. First appointments start at 11am and last appointments depend on how long a piece will take.
You must be 18 or over to have a tattoo and ID will be required on the day of your appointment. We accept parental consent for under 18’s. During the consultation session we will give you a form that you must have with you on the day of your tattoo appointment. The form must be signed by both of your parents. In case it is not, we will refuse to tattoo you and you lose your deposit.
We unfortunately cannot tattoo you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you have any medical conditions such as a blood borne virus etc., please make your artist’s aware of this during your consultation or before making your booking.
We recommend no swimming or heavy sun exposure (including sun beds) for the first few weeks of your healing.
Yes. That is actually the only way you can visit us. We are an appointment based studio, please use the online booking form or call the studio and we will be more than happy to help you set up your appointment. We take appointments online, by phone or e-mail.
We have a minimum charge and we quote on style, size, position and details.
Each tattoo is individual and tailored to each client. We are not able to give an indication of price over email, phone or online, messages via social media platforms. During your consultation session you will be given a quote.
We take deposits to hold all appointments and this can range from 30% to 50% from you quote. Percentage depends on you quote. The remainder of your payment is due after your tattoo has been done. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. 48 hours’ notice is required should you wish to re-schedule your appointment.
Your deposit will vary depending on the estimated final cost of your tattoo. The final cost of your tattoo will be given to you at the end of your consultation session with DJ Wanda.
You need to leave a deposit to secure your appointment. This is non-refundable so no, you won’t get it back but it will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo. You can change your appointment without losing your appointment as long as you call the shop and give us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice (2 working days). If you cancel your appointment all together or do not give us enough notice, your deposit will NOT be refunded. You need to call the shop or make any changes to appointments in person. We cannot accept any changes via email.
In Romania, as with the rest of Europe the law quite clearly states you must be 18 to be tattooed. We will ask for ID so please have something to hand (we also accept driving licenses and passports). If you are under 18 but at least 16 years old, you will need a parental consent to be tattooed. During the consultation session we will give you a form that you must have with you on the day of your tattoo appointment. The form must be signed by both of your parents. In case it is not, we will refuse to tattoo you and you lose your deposit.
We don’t recommend bringing groups of friends along. They can be a distraction and disruptive to the process and in any case, will not be allowed into the tattooing area. If, however, you wish to have a friend present for support we will allow them to hang out for a bit until you are settled with your artist after which, they would probably be better off going and coming back towards the end of your appointment.
Absolutely not! If you turn up for an appointment in any way intoxicated, we will refuse to tattoo you and you will lose your deposit.
All our artists work in multiple styles but by booking a consultation session, DJ Wanda will give you recommendations and will make sure you are matched perfectly with the artist that will best fulfil your needs.
We like you to have a good idea of what you want and it helps to put together a scrap book or mood board of images to help show us the direction you want to take. DJ Wanda will draw and design on your behalf and the cost of this is absorbed into your tattoo. DJ Wanda will only start working on your design once you have placed a deposit to secure an appointment.
Although it is possible to tattoo anywhere on the body, it is not advisable to get very visible work done if you have few or no tattoos. DJ Wanda will advise you on this and if they are not comfortable with either your motivation or understanding they may refuse to tattoo you.
You will be given clear printed after care instructions when you arrive for your tattoo. The artist will go through it all again at the end as there are minor variations to the basic instructions and it is important to follow the artist’s advice carefully.
Sorry we do not do piercings.
We do not have a laser removal service. We love making tattoos, not removing them! However, if you need a tattoo lightened or removed we will be happy to refer you to somebody.
We work with cover-ups, however, we would need to see you for a consultation to determine if this is the best option for you.
Despite our reputation we try and keep our lists short so, generally you can get in within a few weeks and often much sooner. It really depends on what you want and who you wish to do it, but in any case just pick up the phone and ask.
Pain is very subjective and each person experiences their tattoo in a different way. In general, we can assure you, it is more of a discomfort than scream out loud pain and if you pay attention to your artists’ instructions and you are in a relaxed frame of mind it will pass more swiftly and in some cases can even prove enjoyable.
