WandaTattoo hosted a spectacular night to remember: the solo exhibition of Alexander Hoeller – Wunderkind of the contemporary art world. Known for his raw emotion and hypnotic visuals, Alexander brought his magic to the heart of London and the night was nothing short of electric!
Guests were then led by Wanda to The Mandrake Hotel where the party really took off!
The upstairs space of Wanda Tattoo, which doubles as an art gallery, was filled with a guest list of fashion-forward creatives. Tastemakers from Machine-A, insiders from Balenciaga, and some of the city’s most influential personalities filled the room. If you’re into fashion, culture, tattoos and contemporary art in London, this was the place to be!
Wanda opened the evening in a striking Rick Owens look from Lab Store, captivating the crowd before introducing Alexander Hoeller and his body of work.
In a moment that had the entire gallery leaning in, Alexander shared the incredible backstory behind the pieces currently exhibited at Wanda Tattoo. He had just returned from Austin, Texas, where he was preparing to launch a solo exhibition and before the show even opened, every single painting had sold! With just five days until opening, he had to paint nonstop to create a brand-new collection in time! This incredible story shows just how great Alexander’s work is and brought his artwork to life in the space – a truly inspiring and special moment.
The exhibition featured two core pieces – ‘US MF’ which features Pavian, a character created by Alexander decorated with Swarovski crystal grills and ‘Peace’ another supersized Pavian in vibrant colours and Alexander’s signature double middle finger. 10 beautifully intense sketches accompany these pieces and they are all now on display at WandaTattoo.

The energy didn’t stop there. The studio’s very own Darkwah – executive assistant to Wanda, creative force, and DJ for the evening – took over the decks and turned the gallery into a euphoric dance floor! With infectious beats and unstoppable energy, Darkwah made sure the night was unforgettable.
Wanda and Alexander led the charge to The Mandrake Hotel for the after party!
